| Abstract | Stres je sastavni dio svakodnevnoga modernoga života i odnosi se na stanje u kojem je poremećena unutrašnja ravnoteža organizma. Lazarus i Folkman stres su definirali kao poseban odnos između osobe i okoline, koji osoba procjenjuje kao vrlo zahtjevan ili kao odnos koji prelazi njezine mogućnosti i ugrožava njezinu dobrobit. Različiti podražaji mogu izazvati stres kod pojedinaca. Prisutnost nekog podražaja ne izaziva stres, već stres izaziva subjektivno značenje koje pojedinac pridaje tom podražaju. Sve veći broj istraživanja bavi se djelovanjem psihosocijalnog stresa na razvoj i tijek različitih bolesti, kao što su ishemijske bolesti srca, srčane aritmije, povišen arterijski krvni tlak, ulkusna bolest, hipertireoza, dijabetes, astma, reumatske bolesti... Stres ima velik utjecaj na endokrini, neurotransmiterski i imunološki sustav, što se često očituje kožnim bolestima. Koža je najveći organ ljudskog tijela, a naziva se „organom komunikacije/izražavanja“, odgovorna je za brojne funkcije i ima važnu ulogu zaštite tijela i unutarnjih organa. Psihodermatologija je znanost koja pokriva sva gledišta međuodnosa psihološkog statusa i kože u pogledu uzroka, početka, razvoja, dijagnostike i liječenja različitih kožnih bolesti. Posebno je dokumentirana uloga stresa i stresnih događaja kod psorijaze, alopecije areate, atopijskog dermatitisa, akna te vitiliga. Cilj ovog rada je prikazati rezultate istraživanja i stručnih spoznaja koja objašnjavaju povezanost psihološkog stresa i kožnih bolesti te prikazati metode liječenja. Liječenje kožnih bolesti je otežano ukoliko se ne prepozna stres kao egzacerbirajući čimbenik. Brojni fizioterapijski postupci pokazali su se učinkoviti u smanjenju stresa. Fizioterapijske tehnike koje pomažu u ublažavanju psihološkog stresa i kožnih bolesti su tjelesna aktivnost, masaža, vježbe disanja, progresivna mišićna relaksacija, fototerapija te iontoforeza. |
| Abstract (english) | Stress is an integral part of everyday modern life and refers to a state in which the internal balance of the organism is disturbed. Lazarus and Folkman defined stress as a special relationship between a person and the environment, which a person evaluates as very demanding or as a relationship that exceeds his capabilities and threatens his well-being. Different stimuli can cause stress in individuals. The presence of a stimulus does not cause stress, but stress is caused by the subjective meaning that an individual attaches to that stimulus. An increasing number of research studies the effect of psychosocial stress on the development and course of various diseases, such as: ischemic heart disease, cardiac arrhythmias, elevated arterial blood pressure, ulcer disease, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, asthma, rheumatic diseases... Stress has a great impact on endocrine , neurotransmitter and immune system, which often manifests itself as skin diseases. The skin is the largest organ of the human body, it is called the "organ of communication/expression", it is responsible for numerous functions and plays an important role in protecting the body and internal organs. Psychodermatology is a science that covers all aspects of the relationship between the psychological status and the skin regarding the cause, onset, development, diagnosis and treatment of various skin diseases. The role of stress and stressful events in psoriasis, alopecia areata, atopic dermatitis, acne and vitiligo was especially investigated. The aim of this paper is to present the results of research and expert knowledge that explain the connection between psychological stress and skin diseases, and to present treatment methods. Treatment of skin diseases is difficult if stress is not recognized as an exacerbating factor. Numerous physiotherapy procedures have been shown to be effective in reducing stress. Physiotherapy techniques that help reduce psychological stress and treat skin diseases are: physical activity, massage, breathing exercises, progressive muscle relaxation, iontophoresis and phototherapy. |
