Abstract
Nervus medianus ima primarnu ulogu u funkcionalnosti šake. Proteže se od brahijalnog pleksusa i aksile do šake. Oštećenje ovog živca uzrokuju traumatske, kronične mikrotraumatske i kompresivne lezije, kao i degenerativne promjene i neuropatija. Fizioterapijski postupci koji se primjenjuju pri oštećenju n. medianusa su: endogena toplina ultravisokofrekventnom terapijom, laserska terapija, ultrazvučna terapija, magnetoterapija, iontoforeza, akupuntura, terapija udarnim valovima, imobilizacija i kineziterapija. Ukoliko konzervativne metode liječenja ne poluče učinak, pristupa se kirurškom liječenju.
Abstract (english)
The median nerve plays a primary role in the functionality of the hand. It extends from the brachial plexus and axilla to the hand. Damage to this nerve is caused by traumatic, chronic microtraumatic and compressive lesions, as well as degenerative changes and neuropathy. Physiotherapy procedures applied in case of damage to the n. of the median nerve are: endogenous heat with ultrahigh-frequency therapy, laser therapy, ultrasound therapy, magnetotherapy, iontophoresis, acupuncture, shock wave therapy, immobilization and kinesitherapy. If conservative treatment methods fail, surgical treatment is used.
