Abstract
Lateralni epikondilitis ili poznatiji pod nazivom teniski lakat jedan je od najčešćih sindroma prenaprezanja, koji nastaje zbog traume najčešće u mišićima ekstenzora lakta. Ovaj sindrom u većini slučajeva zahvaća dominantnu ruku, a podjednako je prisutan u oba spola. Najčešće zahvaćeni mišići su musculus exstensor carpi radialis longus te musculus exstensor carpi radialis brevis. Glavni simptom kod ovog sindroma je bol koja je prisutna u području lateralnog epikondila lakta, a simptomi mogu varirati od blagih do teških simptoma. U dijagnozi ovog sindroma najvažniju ulogu ima anamneza. U fizioterapijskoj procjeni provode se razni specifični testovi kao što su Cozenov test, Gardnerov test i Millov test. Također u fizioterapijskoj procjeni provode se MMT i goniometrija. Osim testova u procjeni pacijenata sa lateralnim epikondilitisom važnu ulogu imaju i upitnici za pacijente koji za cilj imaju procjenu stanja pacijenta tijekom izvođenja određene aktivnosti, a mogu dati i uvid u napredak terapijskog procesa. U procesu liječenja lateralnog epikondilitisa glavnu ulogu ima kineziterapija. Vježbe istezanja i vježbe jačanja mišića provode su u procesu kineziterapije kod teniskog lakta. Od fizioterapijskih metoda najvažniju ulogu ima RICE meotda, a provodi se i elektroterapija. Ukoliko ove metode ne daju rezultata pristupa se operativnom liječenju. Važnu ulogu ima prevencija, naročito kod sportaša. Preporučuje se primjena kompresivnog zavoja i provođenje proprioceptivnog treninga.
Abstract (english)
Lateral epycondylitis, also known as tennis elbow is one of most common symptoms of overexertion syndromes, which is caused by a trauma in elbow extensors muscels. This syndrome mostly affects the dominant hand and it's present equaly in people of both sexes. Symptoms can vary from weak to strong symptoms, but the main symptom relted to this syndrome is the pain in elbow epicondyle. Anamnesis has the crucial role in diagnosis. In physiotherapy assessment, are used many specific tests like Cozen test, Gardner test and Mill test. Manual muscule test and goniometry are aalso conducted in physiotherapy assessment. Except the tests, questionnaries for patients also have a really important role in patient evluation. Their purpose is the assesment of patient's condition while doing a certain activity while also giving insight in progress of therapy process. Kinesitherapy has the main role in the treatment of lateral epycondylitis. Stretching exercises and muscle strenghtening exercises are conducted in therapy. As for physiotherapy methods, the main ones are the RICE method and electrotheraphy. If mentioned methods do not give positive results, operative tretment is used. Prevention is also really important, especaally among the athletes. The usage of compression bandage and proprioceptive training is recommended.
