Neurorehabilitation with children is of great importance and it sholud start implementing as soon as possible. Children could be born with neurological disease or they could acquired it during or after childbirth. Neurological disorders occur when there are abnormalities in the brain, nervous sistem or muscular system. Genetic predisposition, infections, trauma and metabolic disorder can also be the cause. Most commonly applied in rehabilitation approach with whildren who have neurological diseases are Bobath approach, Vojta-Therapy and robotics. Children with neurological diseases require an individual approach from rehabilitation team who consists of neurologist, phisiatrist, orthopedist, physiotherapist and psychologist. Parents are extremely important members of rehabilitation team. During rehabilitation with Bobath technique child is learning proper movement management pattern. With Bobath concept Vojta therapy is also used whose goal is provoking and stimulating the brain to proper movements trough the nerves. Robotics increases the cognitive ability of the user and provides feedback. By studying research into the impact of Bobath concept and robotics in neurorehabilitation the conclusion is that the best results are in children which were enabled both therapys.
