Abstract
Gležanj se sastoji od gornjeg i donjeg nožnog zgloba. U zglobu se nalaze kosti, ligamenti i tetive mišića. Do ozljede može doći u bilo kojem od prethodno navedenih segmenata. Funkcija mišića je stabilizacija zglobova i izvođenje aktivnog pokreta. Postoji više mehanizama nastanka ozljeda. Do ozljede može doći pretjeranom inverzijom, everzijom, dorzalnom i plantarnom fleksijom stopala. Dijagnoza se postavlja pomoću fizikalnog pregleda, ultrazvuka, RTG-a i MR-a. Ovisno o tipu ozljede, liječenje može početi operacijom, zatim rehabilitacijom ili ako operacija nije potrebna, počinje se konzervativno liječenje.
Abstract (english)
The ankle consists of the upper and lower ankle. There are bones, ligaments and muscle tendons in the joint. Any of the above segments can be injured. The function of the muscles is to stabilize the joints and perform the active movement. There are several mechanisms of injury. Injury can occur by excessive inversion, eversion, dorsal and plantar flexion of the foot. We can make a diagnosis by physical examination, ultrasound, X-ray, and MR. Depending on the type of injury, treatment can begin with surgery and then continue with rehabilitation. However, if the patient doesn't need surgery, the next step is conservative treatment.
