Abstract
Fizioterapijski procesi s oboljelima od demencije predstavljaju ključan aspekt skrbi za ovu populaciju. Individualiziran pristup pacijentima s demencijom je od suštinskog značaja, omogućavajući poboljšanje kvalitete života kroz vježbe mobilnosti, ravnoteže i koordinacije. Fizioterapija također može ublažiti simptome, smanjiti potrebu za lijekovima i pružiti emocionalnu podršku. Suradnja s obitelji i skrbnicima, te edukacija o važnosti vježbanja u demenciji, ključni su čimbenici uspješnog pristupa. Napredak u fizioterapijskim metodama i istraživanje neprestano doprinose poboljšanju skrbi za oboljele od demencije.
Abstract (english)
Fizioterapeutic processes with individuals suffering from dementia represent a crucial aspect of their care. A personalized approach to dementia patients is paramount, enabling the enhancement of their quality of life through exercises focused on mobility, balance, and coordination. Physiotherapy can also alleviate symptoms, reduce the need for medication, and provide emotional support. Collaboration with families and caregivers, along with educating them about the importance of exercise in dementia, are key factors in a successful approach. Advances in physiotherapeutic methods and ongoing research continuously contribute to improving care for individuals with dementia.
