Abstract
Distoni sindrom je poremećaj kretanja kojeg karakterziraju trajne mišićne kontrakcije koje dovode do abnormalnih obrazaca pokreta. Distonija može biti prisutna kod djece i kod odraslih. Karakterizira ju promjenjiv mišićni tonus. Može se dijeliti prema dobi pojave, etiologiji, simptomima i prema zahvaćenosti dijelova tijela. Distonija se u djece liječi farmakoterapijom kao i fizikalnom terapijom. Jedan od najpoznatijih metoda liječenja je botulinum toksinom. Poželjno je dijete što ranije uključiti u fizioterapijske postupke kako bi se na vrijeme započelo s rehabilitacijom i spriječila progresija. Pravilnom fizioterapijskom procjenom procjenjuje se motorički razvoj djeteta. Fizioterapeuti moraju poznavati pravilne obrasce pokreta kako bi mogli prepoznati odstupanja. Kod novorođenčadi koja ne odstupaju od normalnog razvoja prisutni su refleksi. Refleksi se javljaju u određenom razdoblju života djeteta i isto tako se gube. Ukoliko refleks nije prisutan, to je znak abnormalnosti u razvoju djeteta. Na temelju odstupanja od normalnog razvoja određuje se fizioterapijski plan. Određenim manualnim tehnikama i vježbama nastoji se potaknuti pravilno izvođenje pokreta odnosno normalan obrazac pokreta. Osim fizikalne terapije, vrlo važna je i uključenost roditelja. Ispravnim postupanjem s djetetom potiču se pravilni obrasci pokreta. Provođenjem Vojta terapije blokiraju se abnormalni obrasci pokreta kako bi se kod djeteta potaknuo normalni motorički razvoj. Terapija se zasniva na pritisku ključnih točaka na tijelu. Kod novorođenčadi je prisutna refleksna lokomocija koja se sastoji od refleksnog puzanja i refleksnog okretanja. Cilj Vojta terapije je normaliziranje mišićnog tonusa i postizanje normalnih obrazaca pokreta. Fizioterapijskim tehnikama i pravilnim postupanjem postiže se normalniji razvoj djeteta, ujednačava se mišićni tonus i potiče se dijete na normalnu prilagodbu okolini.
Abstract (english)
Dystonia syndrome is a movement disorder characterized by permanent muscle contractions that lead to abnormal movement patterns. Dystonia can be present in children and adults. It is characterized by variable muscle tone. It can be divided according to the age of occurrence, etiology symptoms, and according to the involvement of body parts. Childhood dystonia is treated with pharmacotherapy as well as Physical therapy. One of the most well-known methods is the botulinum toxin. It is advisable to include a child in physiotherapy procedures as early as possible in order to start rehabilitation in time and prevent progression. Proper physiotherapy assessment assesses the motor development of the child. Physiotherapists need to know the correct patterns of movement in order to recognize deviations. Reflexes are present in newborns who do not deviate from normal development. If the reflex is not present, it is a sign of an abnormality in the child's development. Based on the deviation from normal development, a physiotherapy plan is determined. Certain manual techniques and exercises are used to encourage the correct performance of movements. In addition to physical therapy, parental involvement is also very important. Proper handling of the child encourages proper movement patterns. By performing Vojta therapy, abnormal movement patterns are blocked in order to encourage normal motor development in the child. Therapy is based on the pressure of key points on the body. In newborns, reflex locomotion is present, which consists of reflex crawling and reflex turning. The goal of Vojta therapy is to normalize muscle tone and achieve normal movement patterns. Physiotherapy techniques and proper treatment achieve a more normal development of the child, balance muscle tone, and encourage a child to adapt to the environment.
